Changes to drugs laws rejected

This article, published on the 14 September 2006 on Channel4news.com, describes a report by the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs on the UK as a "nation of binge-drinking, cigarette-puffing, drug-taking hedonists". The reports' authors call for curbs in advertising and changes to the drink-driving laws for the young. However the government immediately rejected the proposals.
