Its probably sensible as a starting point - but as we mentioned, in a sale and consumption venue model , like a coffee shop, you would expect for food and (non alcoholic) beverages to be available as well (like coffee, obviously).Steve Rolleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11487781869462634203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28543539.post-83836262169513742002010-11-14T08:45:14.268+00:002010-11-14T08:45:14.268+00:00"Marijuana sold only in licensed retail store..."Marijuana sold only in licensed retail stores where no other products are sold."
I can appreciate their concern if cannabis was stocked alongside alcohol or at fuel stations but I'm unsure why it'd be 'dangerous' to have it on the shelves with tobacco (a no-brainer), munchies or even milk.

I recall some Scandinavian countries have alcohol-only stores but wonder if any other product has such restrictions. Either for health reasons or to ease the scrapping of the UN conventions. It's mentioned both in the Blueprint and in Anand Grover's report.

And is there any chance that the US could be a signatory? Here's a little something I put together:

A comparison of meta-analyses of experimental studies on the impairment of driving-relevant skills by alcohol or cannabis suggests that a THC concentration in the serum of 7–10 ng/ml is correlated with an impairment comparable to that caused by a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.05%. http://www.bobkeeferlaw.com/library/Developing_limits___Marijuana___2007.pdf

It takes approximately 2-3 hours for your serum THC concentration to fall below 10ng/ml after smoking cannabis (of different strengths). In other words you're okay to drive after 2-3 hours of using:

http://img825.imageshack.us/img825/3403/picture3u.png

http://www.springerlink.com/content/um4q1mq4820h7264/

Bear in mind that THC-COOH is the inactive metabolite.strayannoreply@blogger.com
